By the end of our 3rd day on Oahu I was getting into the habit of stepping out and observing every sunrise and sunset on the Magic Island. This particuliar one was not unusual until I was walking back to the hotel and happened to turn back around to this sky reflected in the hotel's salt water lagoon

Knights Ferry is a town in Stanislaus County, California and home to the Knights Ferry Bridge, the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi. This ranch was also frequently used as a shooting location for Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie.

Returned to Tunnel View before sunrise. We could see the little lights from climber camps on El Capitan like beacons in the night. Just as the sun was rising over the mountains the cloud cover cleared over Half Dome revealing this peaceful vista

Zemanta is a little blogger helper gadget that will provide content recommendations to your blog posts. Since I mostly post photographs and videos I doubt it will see much use on my blog. But it might be cool for anyone reading this!
